Castelmerlino is certified for the 'PEFC's Chain of Custody for forest products' and in harmony with the concept of sustainable development, using larch wood from areas where there has been an ongoing natural regeneration of the forest for many years and in which land coverage is assured. Tree cutting in the woods is regulated to maintain or increase the number of plants in the area.
